Shirley Diamond is an experienced music educator specializing in saxophone performance. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Walla Walla University since September 2002, Shirley teaches applied saxophone and coaches chamber music. Prior to this role, Shirley worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Central Washington University from January 2002 to June 2007, where responsibilities included teaching applied saxophone and clarinet, saxophone pedagogy, saxophone literature, and chamber music coaching. Shirley holds a Doctor of Music in Saxophone Performance from Indiana University Bloomington, a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance from The University of British Columbia.
