Rodrigo Vidal

Rodrigo Vidal's work experience begins in 2015 when they worked as a Full Stack Engineer at SafetySOFT, where they developed the initial version of a web application for security and health service professionals.

In 2016, Vidal joined Xintelweb as a Mobile Developer, responsible for analyzing, developing, and managing the mobile version of the Xintel CRM for Android and iOS.

Additionally, Vidal co-founded Tixcode in 2016 and served as the CTO. At Tixcode, they focused on optimizing product user experience and analyzing data for business decision-making. Rodrigo also established structures, roles, and workflows for managing multiple consulting projects and software development, working with fintech, proptech, and edtech startups in LATAM and the US. Vidal stayed with Tixcode until July 2021.

Vidal then worked at JLL Latin America from July 2018 to December 2019 as a Tech Team Lead, providing real estate services to corporate clients.

From December 2019 to February 2021, Vidal worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Splash Financial, a US-based fintech startup specializing in student loan refinancing. Rodrigo was involved in the software development life cycle, gathering business logic and requirements, and implementing technical solutions.

In February 2021, Vidal joined RED Atlas as the Chief Technology Officer, a position they held until December 2021.

Currently, Vidal has founded and become the CEO of Wallbit Pay, a company they started in December 2021.

Rodrigo Vidal pursued their education in a chronological manner. Rodrigo completed their Bachelor's degree in Economy and Business Administration from Escuela Técnica Alemana Moreno between 2007 and 2012. Afterward, they went on to study Software Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires from 2013 to 2020. In addition to their academic pursuits, Rodrigo also obtained certifications in areas such as Designing and Implementing Big Data Analytics Solutions from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, FCE (First Certificate in English) from Cambridge University Press & Assessment, and Start Deutsch A2 from Goethe-Institut e.V.
