Steven Messer

Steven Messer currently serves as the Director of Legal & Deputy General Counsel at Walleye Capital since August 2023. Prior to this role, Steven held multiple positions at Lazard Asset Management from June 2019 to August 2023, including Senior Vice President and Counsel as well as Vice President and Counsel, focusing on alternative investments and private funds. Steven's legal experience also includes working as an Associate in the Asset Management Group at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP from October 2013 to May 2019. Steven holds a Juris Doctor degree from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor's degree in English from Emory University.
