Betsey Bakker

Betsey Bakker, M.A.P., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director, Divisional People Partner for the Central Division at Walmart since September 2023. Additionally, Betsey holds a position as Adjunct Faculty in Strategic HR Management at the University of Central Arkansas since 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Senior People Leader at Amazon from 2021 to 2023, Vice President and Chief People Officer at Quality Restaurant Group from 2019 to 2020, and various positions at SONIC Drive-In from 2000 to 2019, culminating in roles such as Senior Director of Franchise Human Resources, Senior Human Resources Business Partner, Director of Field Human Resources, and Regional Human Resources Consultant. Betsey Bakker earned a Master’s in Applied Psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from the University of Central Arkansas.
