Mariam Tareen

Mariam Tareen is a seasoned professional in product management with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Group Director of Product Management at Walmart's Data Ventures since March 2021, Mariam previously held roles including Sr Director and Director within the same organization. Prior to Walmart, Mariam worked at Walmart Labs as Group Product Manager, focusing on scalable data solutions, and at PayPal as Product Manager, overseeing global product initiatives such as Pay After Delivery. With a foundation in engineering from eBay as a Staff Engineer and experience in various leadership roles, including co-founding Signifera Software Solutions, Mariam combines technical expertise with strategic product development. Educational qualifications include an MS in Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Mysore.
