Sam Deforest

Sam DeForest is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in design and project management. Since April 1995, Sam has served as the Manager of Engineering at Walpole Outdoors, focusing on senior design projects, new product development, and client proposal creation. Prior experience includes roles as a Field Engineering Drafter at Narragansett Electric, where responsibilities involved managing Dig-Safe requests and updating transmission maps, and as a Drafter at A.H. Harris & Sons, assisting in concrete formwork design. Additionally, Sam worked as an Estimator at LJH Contracting, preparing cost information for bids. Sam holds a BS in Architectural Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology and has studied at Clark University.
