Lauren Klein

Lauren Klein is an experienced professional in the design and sales sectors, currently serving as an Associate Sales Manager and Designer at Walter E. Smithe Furniture & Design since March 2022. Prior roles include Assistant Designer at Christie Kenny Interiors, LLC, and Assistant Manager at The Tile Shop. Lauren's background also features positions as a Design Studio Assistant at Brentano and Freelance Surface Designer and Textile Artist. At the Rhode Island School of Design, Lauren worked as a Freelance Textile Designer and Contract Design Intern with Valdese Weavers, where skills in fabric development and design were honed. Earlier experience includes roles as a Gallery Assistant at Yellow Barn Studio and a Teacher's Assistant for Foundation Drawing at RISD. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Textile Sciences and Engineering from Rhode Island School of Design, earned in 2018.
