Nila Abubakar, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Principal and Managing Director at Walter P Moore since June 2023. Previously, Nila held various roles over nearly a decade at Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi), where responsibilities included executing forensic investigations and developing solutions for a range of clients. Nila's career also includes significant experience at Norfolk Southern as Assistant Engineer of Structures, managing design and projects related to railroad infrastructure. Early career internships at Pruitt Eberly Stone and Orbital Engineering provided foundational skills in planning, design, and construction administration across multiple industries. Nila earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
