Carlos Barrera Ph.D.

Carlos Barrera PhD, M(ASCP)MT, C.C has a diverse work experience. From 2023 onward, they have been serving as the Chief Manager of Quality Assurance at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. In 2020, Carlos started working at Uniformed Services University as an Assistant Professor and also held the position of XO AFRRI, which involved being an Executive Officer at AFRRI, the U.S. Department of Defense's only medical research and development facility dedicated to nuclear and radiobiological defense. Prior to that, Carlos served in the US Army as the Director of Laboratory Operations until October 2022.
