Stephan Massner

Stephan Massner has over three decades of work experience in procurement and supplier management. Stephan is currently the Global Head of Procurement at Walterscheid Powertrain Group. Before this, they operated their own business as an Independent Senior Expert and Consultant in Global Procurement Processes from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they were the General Manager of Procurement and Supplier Management at BBAC Automotive Company from 2014 to 2017. Stephan also served as the Vice President of Procurement at BDNT (Shenzhen BYD Daimler New Technology Co.,Ltd) from 2011 to 2014. Earlier in their career, Stephan worked at Daimler AG from 2005 to 2010 and Mercedes-Benz South Africa from 2003 to 2005 in senior management positions. Stephan also held the role of Head of Procurement Department at Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda. from 1999 to 2003. Stephan began their career at Daimler AG as a Buyer/Senior Buyer from 1988 to 1997.

Stephan Massner obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Passau between 1984 and 1989. During this time, they studied various subjects including Marketing, Banking, and Manufacturing.
