Hengameh (Heny) Taraz is an experienced educator and founder with a focus on neuroscience, education, and creative expression. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Lesley University and Review Editor in Neuroscience and Psychology for Frontiers for Young Minds, Hengameh actively contributes to the academic community while also leading CognitiveConnections.Org, which simplifies complex brain functions for broader understanding. As an Educator in Waltham Public Schools, Hengameh specializes in curriculum design and mentoring. Additional ventures include founding OpenEyesOpenMind.com to promote educational initiatives through art and serving as a Founding Teacher at ANOVA/ACERA MA School of Science, Creativity, and Leadership. Hengameh's educational background encompasses a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Education, multiple advanced degrees, and a broad academic foundation in biology, philosophy, and sociology.
