Karen Brown

Karen Brown is an experienced education professional with a background in music education spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Representative for Walton County School District since January 2018, Karen previously held roles as a Music Teacher and 504 Coordinator at Walton County Public Schools from August 2006 to January 2023. Prior to that, Karen worked as a Music Teacher at Harbins Elementary School and Lilburn Middle School within Gwinnett County Public Schools from 1983 to 2006. Karen holds a Specialist degree in Administration from Lincoln Memorial University, a Master's degree in Music Education from The University of Georgia, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Mercer University.
