Abir Ahmed has a diverse work experience. Abir started their career in 2012 as a Project Research Engineer at Mennonite Central Committee. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a QA and Process Development Engineer at Walton Micro-Tech Corporation Ltd., where they supervised quality control inspectors and implemented quality systems. In 2016, Abir joined PRAN-RFL Group as a Sr. Manager, responsible for project development, operations, and data analysis. In 2020, they became the Operative Director in the Flat Panel Display and TV R&D division at Walton Micro-Tech Corporation Ltd. Currently, Abir holds the position of Deputy Chief Business Officer at Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC.
Abir Ahmed's education history begins in 2005, where they attended Notre Dame College and obtained their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a focus on Science. In 2007, they enrolled at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology and completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2012.
After working for several years, Abir returned to academia in 2019 and attended BRAC University. Abir pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business Operations Management on an executive track, which they completed in 2020.
In 2023, Abir furthered their education by enrolling in United International University. Abir obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science during that year.
Throughout their education, Abir has developed a strong foundation in science and engineering, and subsequently expanded their knowledge to encompass business operations management and data science.
