Rachel Bateast

Rachel Bateast has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rachel is currently working as the VP of Strategy at Walton Isaacson, a position they obtained in October 2021. Before that, they held the role of VP of Strategic Planning Director at FCB Chicago from March 2021 to October 2021. From December 2020 to May 2021, Rachel worked as the VP of Strategic Planning at The Mars Agency, after serving as the Director of Strategic Planning from May 2014 to December 2020. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Senior Strategic Planner at Doner from January 2012 to April 2014, and as a Senior Brand Experience Strategist at Jack Morton Worldwide from July 2011 to January 2012. Rachel also gained experience as a Communications Strategist at Universal McCann from June 2010 to July 2011, and as a Cultural Strategist at GlobalHue from November 2007 to June 2010. Starting their career, they worked as a Research Analyst at Performax Consulting Services from September 1998 to May 2007. Additionally, Rachel had a significant research role as a Research Analyst at the Research Institute of Urban Affairs from September 2002 to August 2006, where they contributed to insightful qualitative research and collaborated on the development of a published report.

Rachel Bateast has a strong educational background in business and communication arts. From 2002 to 2007, they attended Michigan State University and obtained a degree in Business with a field of study in Marketing. During the same period, they also obtained a degree in Communication Arts with a field of study in Advertising from the same institution. Additionally, Rachel has been recognized for their achievements with certifications such as being a Women of Excellence Finalist in the Path to Purchase Institute in November 2020 and being nominated for the Women of Excellence Award in October 2019.
