Shannon Burke

Shannon Burke, CPA, currently serves as the Assistant Controller at Walton Street Capital since February 2020, following a role as Financial Reporting Senior Associate at GLP from December 2016 to January 2020. At GLP, Shannon was involved in month- and quarter-end close activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and GAAP for significant transactions, and performed variance analysis for funds. Prior to GLP, Shannon worked at EY from September 2013 to December 2016 as an Assurance Senior, where responsibilities included supervising audit engagements and developing client relationships. Early career experiences included roles as a Financial Administration and Internal Audit Intern at the University of Wisconsin System and as an Accounting Intern at TJM Institutional Services. Shannon holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
