Sherwin Chua

Sherwin Chua, PhD, currently serves as a Lecturer at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, focusing on digital journalism, media innovation, and newsroom transformation. Chua is also an Editorial Board Member for Digital Journalism and collaborates with WAN-IFRA. Previously, Chua worked as a media trainer with AAJA-Asia, a PhD Candidate at the University of Gothenburg, and held various editorial positions at Singapore Press Holdings and TODAYOnline. Chua holds a PhD in Journalism Media and Communication from the University of Gothenburg, as well as a Master's in Mass Communication from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Sociology from the National University of Singapore.
