Shawn Cowdrey

Shawn Cowdrey has a diverse work experience. In 2007, they were a Store Manager at Mont du Cap. In 2008, they became an IT Technician (Part Time) at Freight Information Solutions and Technology. In 2010, they had a vacation training as an Engineering at Traffic Management Technologies. In 2011, they were a Primarius (Head of house) at Olympus PSO Stellenbosch, Communications HK and Mentor at the same company. Shawn also had a vacation training as an Engineering at Special Products & Technologies. In 2013, they were a Sound Technician (Part Time) at Creative Gear. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Logistics Director at Xerus Surgical, and an Application Engineer and Business development Manager and Sales Engineer at Omron Electronics Pty Ltd Australia. Since 2022, they have been an Engineering Manager and Product Manager at Wandelbots.

Shawn Cowdrey attended Sweet Valley Primary School from 1999 to 2002, Bergvliet High School from 2003 to 2007, and Stellenbosch University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. In 2015, they became a Candidate Member of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and a Member of the Clinical Engineering Association of South Africa (CEASA). In 2022, they obtained a Customer Success for Impact certification from Winning by Design.
