Brad McAllister

Co-Founder & Director, Operations at WAP Sustainability

Brad McAllister is the Director of Operations at WAP Sustainability. Brad has over 10 years of experience working in the sustainability field. Prior to their current position, Brad was an Adjunct Professor of Advanced Sustainable Enterprise at the Institute for Sustainable Practice, where they taught courses on topics such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), GHG inventory and management, energy and resource management, employee engagement, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI G3), Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development and management, sustainability reporting, and general corporate sustainability strategy that includes integrating sustainability metrics into traditional business financial analysis.

Before their time at the Institute for Sustainable Practice, Brad was a presenter with The Climate Project, where they were invited and trained to educate community and corporate leaders on the risks associated with climate change and the opportunities available when organizations and communities mitigate their impacts, as well as, prepare for inevitable climatic changes.

Brad has also worked in media relations and as a sustainability advisor for Rock/Creek Outfitters. In this role, they provided advice on how the company could operate more sustainably and helped to develop and implement sustainable business practices.

Brad is a highly experienced and knowledgeable sustainability professional who is passionate about helping organizations to operate in a more sustainable manner. Brad is an excellent communicator and teacher, with a proven track record of success in working with businesses to integrate sustainability into their operations.

Brad McAllister's educational career includes studying sustainability at Lipscomb University's Institute for Sustainable Practice, as well as earning a MS in Environmental Science and Sustainability from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Brad also holds a B.S from The University of Georgia in Ecology.

Brad McAllister reports to William Paddock, Managing Director. Brad McAllister works with Maggie Wildnauer - Sustainability Director, Matt Van Duinen - Sustainability Director, and Genna Heath - Director, Toxicology & Material Health.
