Ada Monzon's work experience begins in 1995 with a role in the Hazard Mitigation Program at FEMA. In 1998, they became a Weather Anchor at WIPR-TV before transitioning to the role of Chief Meteorologist at Univision in 2003. Ada joined the Sistema Universitario Ana G. Méndez (SUAGM) as a Presenter in 2015 and also worked as a Meteorologist at Lenteviral.com during this time. In 2016, they briefly returned to WIPR TV as a Presenter before becoming a Meteorologist at WIPR TV from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they served as a Meteorologist at UNIVISION Radio WKAQ-580 am from 2004 to an unspecified date. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Meteorologist at Wapa Televisión, starting in September 2019. Ada Monzon also has experience as the President of the Board of Directors at EcoExploratorio: Museo de Ciencias de Puerto Rico, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting science, engineering, mathematics, and technology education.
Ada Monzon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the Universidad de Puerto Rico, which they completed from 1982 to 1986. Ada later pursued a Master's Degree in Meteorology from Florida State University between 1986 and 1988. Additionally, Monzon obtained a Scientists Teaching Science Certificate of Completion from The New York Academy of Sciences in 2017.
