Paul Ndichu

Paul Ndichu is an accomplished fintech leader with extensive experience in founding and managing startups focused on consumer and financial technology in Africa. As Co-Founder and CEO of Wapi Capital since November 2016, and Co-Founder of Wapi Pay PTE LTD since October 2019, Paul has played a pivotal role in developing strategic projects and international payment solutions between Africa and Asia. Previous positions include Principal Advisor at Safaricom, VP/Managing Director at Jumia Group, and Head of Digital Banking and Payments at Standard Bank Group, where Paul also served as Vice Chair of Pesalink and Innovation Fund Manager. Paul’s educational background includes executive management training from Harvard Business School and a Global Fintech focus from Alibaba Business School, complemented by a degree from Curtin University.
