Robert Boyd

Robert Boyd possesses extensive experience in exercise physiology and chronic disease management, currently serving as an Exercise Physiologist at Primary Health and Waratah Private Hospital since October and July 2017, respectively. Additionally, Robert has been a Chronic Disease Management Program Officer at South Western Sydney Medicare Local since March 2011, where notable achievements include the application of motivational interviewing techniques to enhance client health outcomes and the implementation of strategies that improved performance while reducing consultation times. Robert's responsibilities encompass pre-screening participants, conducting exercise testing, leading group exercise classes for individuals with diverse health conditions, and providing counselling and education for Healthy Eating Activity Lifestyle participants. Prior experience includes roles as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Sydney South West Area Health Service and a Learn to Swim Instructor at Whitlam Leisure Centre. Robert holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Sport & Exercise Science from UWS, earned between 2003 and 2007.
