Matthew Hinson

Matthew Hinson's work experience includes serving as the Chief Development Officer at American Trailer Rental Group since September 2022. Prior to that, they held various roles at Orthopedic Care Partners, starting as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Development/M&A in January 2022 and working their way up to Vice President and Director of Corporate Development/M&A. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Principal at Live Oak Advisors, providing transaction assistance services to middle market companies. Before that, they served as a Senior Associate at Alvarez & Marsal, where they assessed matters impacting the valuation of target companies and provided interim financial management. Matthew also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Fifth Third Securities, constructing financial models and conducting valuation analysis. Matthew began their career as an Audit Senior at Deloitte & Touche, performing financial statement audits and reviewing internal controls. Matthew gained teaching experience as an Accounting Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Matthew also interned at Deloitte & Touche.

Matthew Hinson has a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, specializing in Mergers and Consolidations and Taxation. Matthew also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting from the same university. In addition, Matthew has obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant through the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
