Dr. Carsten Ungrade

Dr. Carsten Ungrade has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1991, they worked as a Trunked Radio Technician at Funktechnik Leicht before transitioning to a Project Manager role at Rohde & Schwarz in 1994. After working there for two years, they joined Media-Saturn Verwaltungs GmbH as a Technical Customer Service Coordinator in 1996. Dr. Carsten then moved on to become a Project Manager at Media Markt Management GmbH in 2003. In 2005, Dr. Ungrade began their tenure at Media -Saturn Holding GmbH, where they held various managerial positions, including Global Head of Services and Solutions and International Business Manager. During their time at Media -Saturn Holding GmbH, they were responsible for value-added services, insurance, financial services, after-sales service, and service controlling. Dr. Carsten also played a key role in developing national service organizations and negotiating international Service Level Agreements. In 2015, Dr. Ungrade joined RTS Service Group, a subsidiary of MediaMarktSaturn Retail Group, as the Director of Technology & International Business. Dr. Carsten served in this role until December 2018. Dr. Ungrade has also utilized their expertise as a Lecturer at several institutions, including Hamburger Fern-Hochschule, Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, and Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln. Presently, they serve as the Managing Director for Life Cycle Service at WAREMA Renkhoff SE, a role they have held since April 2019. Overall, Dr. Carsten Ungrade's career has focused on customer service, technical project management, and international business development.

Dr. Carsten Ungrade's education history is as follows:

Dr. Ungrade earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Fast Fourier Transformation and Possion Process from the University of Hall / Innsbruck, where they studied from 2007 to 2011.

In 2016 to 2017, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Engineering Management from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.

From 2007 to 2009, Dr. Ungrade pursued a Master of Laws (LL.M.) (oec.) degree in Business Law at the University of Saarbrücken.

Dr. Carsten also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Applied Science, Berlin, where they studied from 2005 to 2007.

In addition, they completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics and Management from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in 2005 to 2007.

Dr. Ungrade's educational background includes a Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Ing. degree (equivalent to a Master's degree) in Industrial Engineering and Administration from the University of Applied Science Hamburg, which they obtained from 2000 to 2005.

Dr. Carsten also pursued various subjects including Mathematics, Electronics, Philosophy, and History at the Distance University Hagen from 1995 to 2005.

Furthermore, Dr. Ungrade earned a Certified Engineer degree in information engineering from the Technical College in Würzburg, where they studied from 1992 to 1994.

Lastly, they completed a Radio and TV Technician program at Udo Lerman GmbH&Co KG in Würzburg from 1986 to 1989.
