Pete Barrett

Pete Barrett is a seasoned audio professional with extensive experience in post-production, sound design, and music performance. Currently serving as the Post Production Operations Manager and Senior Re-recording Mixer/Sound Designer at Warm Springs Productions since January 2017, Pete previously operated Pete Barrett Audio Post from April 2013 to July 2022. As a lead singer and guitarist for the progressive bluegrass band The Lil' Smokies, Pete contributed to the band's national touring success and won the 2015 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition. Earlier experience includes positions as an Assistant Mixer/Engineer at Bionic, where project management and technical skills were honed, and a brief tenure as a producer for the debut album of the Broken Valley Roadshow. Educationally, Pete holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
