Deepna Devkar

Deepna Devkar, Ph.D., is a highly experienced professional in the fields of machine learning and data science, currently serving as Senior Vice President of ML Engineering and AI for Global Streaming at Warner Bros. Discovery since July 2022. Previously, Deepna held the position of Vice President of Machine Learning and Data Platform Engineering at CNN from May 2019 to January 2023, and served in various leadership roles at Dotdash, including Vice President and Head of Data Science. Deepna is also a founding member of Chief, a network aimed at supporting women executives. Earlier career roles include data scientist positions at Viacom and postdoctoral fellowships at New York University and Insight Data Science. Deepna holds a Chief Data Officer degree from Carnegie Mellon University and earned a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, along with a Master's degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Baylor University.
