Lenaya Crandall Hezel

LeNaya Crandall Hezel, Ph.D., currently serves as the Chief Programs Officer at the Warrior-Scholar Project, leading efforts to develop educational programming for enlisted veterans. As the former Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, LeNaya empowered transitioning service members and veterans to navigate higher education through equitable practices. LeNaya founded NayceQuest LLC, aimed at transforming organizational diversity initiatives into inclusive cultures. Previous roles include participating as a Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program Scholar at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, serving as Veterans Office Director at Georgetown University, and holding administrative positions in various organizations. LeNaya holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from George Mason University, a Master's in Higher Education Administration from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor's in Music: Vocal Performance from the University of Maryland.
