Gabriela Rivero

Gabriela Rivero is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Head of Legal for Wärtsilä Energy Storage, leading a global team focused on renewable energy solutions since 2022. Rivero has been with Wärtsilä since 2014, previously acting as Area Counsel for the Americas within the Energy division, where a multi-cultural team provided business-friendly legal solutions. Prior to Wärtsilä, Rivero practiced at Pogach & Trachtenberg PLLC and Mayer Brown, handling complex commercial litigation and various aspects of legal matters in energy and bankruptcy. An alumnus of Yale Law School, where a Doctor of Law (JD) was earned, and Rice University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology was obtained, Rivero exhibits a profound understanding of legal frameworks and bilateral regulatory matters.
