Dan Thurber

Mr. Thurber serves as Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel of Wasatch Global Investors, which he joined in 2006. He also serves on the Board of Directors.

From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Thurber was an associate and partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Salt Lake City, where he represented large institutional investors, investment companies and investment advisors (including Wasatch Global Investors).

Earlier in his career, Mr. Thurber worked in New York in the investment-funds groups of law firms Baker & McKenzie and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. He relocated to Utah in 1999 and co-founded Anthill.com, an internet start-up company.

Mr. Thurber earned Juris Doctor and Master of Laws (LLM) degrees from Duke Law School. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He is a member of the Utah and New York Bar Associations.

Dan grew up on a dairy farm in Montana, speaks Finnish and enjoys curling.
