Jim Kowats is the SVP of Productions at Washington Capitals. Jim has over 15 years of experience in the television industry, working as a showrunner, producer, writer, and director. Jim has worked on a variety of shows, including expedition-based storytelling, docu-series, wildlife series, and more. Jim is a highly experienced and accomplished television professional who has worked for some of the biggest names in the industry.

Jim Kowats completed a Master’s Degree in Communications, Culture & Technology at Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and International Studies at Northwestern University.
