Amanda Garcia-Snell serves as the Community Engagement Manager and Health Equity, Planning and Policy Supervisor at Washington County since June 2008. In this role, Amanda manages the Health Equity, Planning and Policy program, focusing on developing and implementing policies that enhance health equity, promote tobacco-free living, increase access to healthy food, and support community health initiatives. Amanda has also held positions as the Chronic Disease Prevention Sr. Program Coordinator and Tobacco and Chronic Disease Prevention Program Coordinator at Portland State University. Additionally, Amanda's background includes work with the Oregon Health Authority and JLA Public Involvement. Amanda holds a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Public Health Education and Promotion, a Certificate in Chicano Latino Studies, and a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology, all from Portland State University.
