Stephen Powers

Stephen Powers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Program Manager at WMATA since June 2012, Stephen oversees the Fixed Facilities & Mechanical Systems Rehabilitation Program. Previously, Stephen held various engineering and management roles including Resident Engineer at Parsons Management Consultants and Assistant Construction Site Manager at AECOM. Stephen also managed the office and accounts for Design Powers, a web design firm, from September 1996 to January 2023. Stephen began a career in project management at Shirley Contracting Company. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, obtained in 1987.
