James Badas has gained extensive experience in the field of baseball operations, starting as an intern with the Washington Nationals in May 2017. James progressed through various roles within the organization, including Analyst, Senior Analyst, Assistant Director, and ultimately Director of Baseball Operations in November 2022. James also worked as a Freelance Researcher for NBC Sports Group in February and May 2017, and as an Olympics Researcher in February 2018.
Outside of baseball, James worked as an Assistant Business Operations Manager at Yale University from January 2015 to June 2017. In this role, they assisted the Business Manager in managing a department of approximately 400 employees and played a significant role in organizing a department move. James utilized Excel and Visio to support day-to-day operations.
In addition, James gained experience as a Broadcaster and Producer for Ivy League Digital Network from September 2015 to May 2017. Prior to that, they served as a Sports Editor for the Yale Daily News from September 2013 to September 2016. James also interned as a Baseball Analytics & Operations Intern at TrackMan from May 2015 to January 2016.
Furthermore, they worked as a Regional Reporter for US Lacrosse from October 2013 to June 2014, and as a Contributing Writer for China Hands from December 2013 to April 2014.

James Badas attended Oxford High School from 2009 to 2013. James then went on to study at Yale University from 2013 to 2017, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science.
