Zhaokang Cheng is an Associate Professor at Washington State University Spokane since June 2016, with a focus on the regulation of cell death and survival in the heart. Prior roles include Assistant Professor at the same institution and Research Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Zhaokang Cheng also studied the regulation of cell death and survival in the heart.
