Joe Olbrych

Joe Olbrych is an experienced outdoor and conservation professional currently serving as Puget Sound Field Manager at Washington Trails Association since February 2022. Prior to this role, Joe held multiple positions at Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, including Middle Fork Valley Community Coordinator and Field Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed leading stewardship initiatives and coordinating volunteer events. Joe's extensive experience also includes serving as Assistant Crew Supervisor with Washington Conservation Corps, and various roles focused on outdoor education and trail maintenance throughout different organizations, keenly emphasizing community engagement and environmental stewardship. Joe holds a Bachelor of Arts in Adventure Literature, Outdoor Education, and Sustainability Studies from Hampshire College, complemented by an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts from Springfield Technical Community College.
