Johanne Lapointe

Johanne Lapointe, CPA, CIA, CIDA has a comprehensive work experience in the field of audit and internal audit. Johanne started their career at Ernst & Young in 1996 as an Audit & Assurance professional before moving to Deloitte as an Assurance & Advisory Services Manager in 2001. Johanne then joined John Hancock Financial Services in 2002 as the Director of Audit Services. In 2013, they transitioned to TD as the VP of Regulatory Reporting, Dodd Frank, and later moved to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust in 2015 as the SVP of Internal Audit. Currently, they serve as the SVP of Internal Audit at Washington Trust Bank since 2020.

Johanne Lapointe, CPA, CIA, CIDA, obtained a BBA in Accounting from the University of New Brunswick in 1990. Johanne later completed their Chartered Accountant certification from the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy in 1999. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Investments and Derivatives Auditor.
