Michele Groves

Michele Groves is an experienced banking professional with a strong background in Small Business Administration (SBA) lending. Currently serving as AVP-SBA Team Leader at Washington Trust Bank since October 2017, Michele oversees SBA compliance and portfolio management. Previously held the position of AVP-SBA Processor Closer at Washington Trust Bank from 2014 to 2017 and worked as AVP-SBA Loan Officer at Panhandle State Bank from 2001 to 2014, where responsibilities included assessing loan eligibility and managing SBA portfolio compliance. Michele holds an MBA in Business from Liberty University (2016-2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Park University (1997-2004).
