Jasen King

Jasen King is an experienced educator with over two decades in various teaching roles focused on special education and general classroom instruction. Currently serving as a Teacher at Washtenaw Intermediate School District since October 2019, Jasen has also held positions as a Teacher Consultant at Plymouth Canton Community Schools and the School District of Ypsilanti, where assistance was provided to special education students in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II. Jasen's earlier experience includes teaching in self-contained classrooms for grades 2-6 at Flint Community Schools and elementary teaching roles in 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades. Jasen holds a Master of Arts in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Arts in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Michigan State University.
