Alexis Awungia Tazinya

Alexis Awungia Tazinya has a long history of work experience, starting in 2013 as a House Officer at Batibo District Hospital. In 2015, they worked as a Medical Doctor at 7th Day Adventist Health Center, a Consulting Physician at Catholic University Institute of Buea, and a Medecin at Federation National Du Sport Universitaire (FENASU) Cameroun. In the same year, they were also a Senior Technical Officer for HIV Testing Services Littoral at PEPFAR-Funded HIV Project -CBCHS. In 2016, they were the Founder and Managing Director of Hospi Mobile Serivices. In 2018, they were a Professional Intern at Hennepin Healthcare. Most recently, they have been the Chief Health Officer at WASPITO Inc. since 2020.

Alexis Awungia Tazinya has a comprehensive education history. From 2008 to 2015, they attended the University of Buea and earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in General Medicine. From 2019 to 2020, they attended the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London and earned a Master of Public Health - MPH for Development degree in Public Health for Development.
