Pattabi Doraiswamy has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Pattabi started their career as a Trainee Technical Suprindendant at Essar-SISCO Ship Management Company in 1995. From there, they worked at Covansys as a Programmer and then as a Sr. Technical Consultant from 1997 to 2003.

Pattabi then joined Lands' End as a Business Systems Analyst/Programming Specialist from 2003 to 2005. Following that, they worked at TomoTherapy Inc. as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of the Hi-Art radiotherapy system.

Afterwards, they took on the role of Design Architect at Stratagem, Inc., where they worked on a Justice Information Sharing Gateway project for the state of Wisconsin. Pattabi then joined American Family Insurance as an Applications Technology Advisor, specializing in SOA projects and architecting Web Service solutions.

Pattabi worked as a Professional Consultant at the Office of Justice Assistance (State of Wisconsin), providing software solution consulting services and contributing to the design and development of an open-source standard called CDCL.

At Accuray Incorporated, they served as a Software Engineering Manager, responsible for planning and execution of software development programs within the R&D organization.

Currently, they are at Watchfire, where they started as a Senior Software Engineering Manager (R&D) in 2013. Pattabi then progressed to become a Director of Engineering in 2016, responsible for overseeing all Software and Mechanical Engineering product development efforts. Finally, they assumed the role of Vice President of R&D in 2017 and later took on the additional responsibilities of Customer Service.

Pattabi Doraiswamy's education history begins in 1991 when they enrolled at the Vellore Institute of Technology. Pattabi pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, completing their studies in 1995. Following this, they attended the Marine Engineering and Research Institute from 1995 to 1996, where they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Marine Engineering.
