Travis Sanders

Travis Sanders is a Senior Research & Development Scientist at Watchmaker Genomics since December 2020, specializing in genomics applications. Prior to this role, Travis served as a PhD student at Colorado State University from August 2016 to December 2020, focusing on novel enzyme discovery in hyperthermophilic Archaea, mechanistic characterization of key enzymes, and utilizing next-generation sequencing for gene expression analysis. Travis holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Colorado State University, obtained in 2020, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field earned in 2016.
