Stefan Borson

Stefan Borson is the Group Chief Executive Officer at Watchstone Group. Stefan has extensive experience in the media and leisure industries, having served as a PLC Board Director at Clerkenwell Ventures plc and a Non-executive Director at Redbus Media Group.

Borson began their career in investment banking at Investec in 2000. Stefan was responsible for deal origination and negotiation, as well as regulatory adherence and liaison. In 2007, they successfully raised £30m from leading UK small and mid cap investors including Schroders, Newton, Fidelity and Aviva. Clerkenwell Ventures plc was listed on AIM and sought growth acquisitions in the leisure industry.

In 2009, Borson joined Redbus Media Group as a Non-executive Director. Stefan managed profitable growth at the company, successfully acquiring and integrating a number of distressed assets. Stefan also developed one of the largest digital out of home networks in the UK and built the largest supermarket out of home advertising networks in the UK with contracts with Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys. In 2015, they successfully integrated and rationalised the acquisition of the UK's largest retail and leisure park outdoor poster network.

Borson joined Watchstone Group plc in 2016 as the Group Chief Executive Officer. Stefan is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the company. Under their leadership, Watchstone Group has become a leading provider of software and services to the

Stefan Borson attended Manchester Grammar School before going on to the University of Leeds, where they studied for their LL.B in Law. Stefan then completed a Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.
