Andy Nielsen

Andy Nielsen has extensive work experience in finance, accounting, and auditing. Andy has held various roles at different companies, including Watco Companies LLC, WireCo WorldGroup, and KPMG US. At Watco Companies LLC, Andy served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting. Andy was responsible for overseeing financial operations and managing a large portfolio of short line railroads. Prior to this, Andy worked at WireCo WorldGroup, where they held positions such as Director of Eastern Hemisphere Accounting and Finance, Director of Global Costing, Manager of Strategic Operations, and Sr. Financial Analyst. At KPMG US, Andy worked as a Sr. Audit Associate and gained experience in providing professional audit services to clients in various industries. Overall, Andy has a strong background in finance, accounting, and auditing, with a focus on financial statement audits, SEC filings, SOX compliance, and communication with senior management.

Andy Nielsen obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from Kansas State University from 2001 to 2006. Andy did not pursue any additional degree or field of study at the same university. Andy also does not have any additional certifications such as a CPA.
