Pierre Azzopardi is an experienced commercial manager specializing in IT vendor management and strategic sourcing, currently serving as the Commercial Manager for WaterNSW since July 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing the commercial aspects of the WAVE digital transformation program. Previous roles include Director of IT Commercial & Program Management at Lion, Regional Head of IT Finance and Vendor Management at AXA, and Head of IT Purchasing and Vendor Management at Cathay Pacific Airways. With a solid background in managing major outsourcing contracts, financial governance, and high-performance team leadership across diverse sectors, Pierre has demonstrated expertise in achieving cost-effective solutions through strategic negotiation and vendor relationship management.
