Kabindra Pudasaini has a diverse range of work experience in the field of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) management. Starting in 2002, they worked as the Managing Director and Principal of Multi Skills Pvt. Ltd until 2006. From 2008 to 2011, they served as a Senior Water Supply Engineer at the Water Engineering and Training Center. In the same period, they also worked as a Water Safety Plan Specialist in a part-time consulting role for the World Health Organization (WHO), implementing the WSP concept in both rural and urban areas of Nepal.
In 2011, Kabindra joined the Government of Nepal (GoN) as a Programme Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist until 2014. During this time, they provided expertise in monitoring and evaluating various programs. In 2014, they transitioned to become a National Professional Officer (NPOc) at the WHO-Nepal office until 2015.
From 2015 onwards, Kabindra has held several positions related to WASH management. kabindra worked as a Beacon Lead for the Beacon Initiatives Project at WaterAid, leading the overall project and collaborating with various stakeholders such as municipalities and water supply cooperations. In 2015, they also became an Executive Member of the Society of Public Health Engineers Nepal (SOPHEN), where they contributed to the development of concept proposals, organized workshops, and conferences, and maintained professional relationships with WASH stakeholders.
Furthermore, Kabindra served as a Programme Manager and Senior WASH Coordinator for an emergency response project at WaterAid, managing the overall program, developing fundraising proposals, and leading activities related to water security and disaster preparedness. kabindra also supported capacity building initiatives and developed frameworks, reports, and factsheets for the project.
Throughout their career, Kabindra has demonstrated their expertise in WASH management, water safety planning, program coordination, and technical support.
Kabindra Pudasaini completed their Master's degree in Water, Wetlands, and Marine Resources Management from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, they have an additional certification of MSc in Water Management and Civil Engineering from TU and UNESCO-IHE, although the specific dates of obtaining this certification are not provided. kabindra studied for their second Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University, IOE, Pulchowk Campus, although the start and end years for this degree are not mentioned.
