Gráinne Kennedy

Gráinne Kennedy is a seasoned professional in environmental management and sustainability, currently serving as Climate Action Coordinator for Waterford City & County Council since July 2022. Previous roles include Energy Engineer at 3 Counties Energy Agency from October 2020 to July 2022 and Smart Travel Facilitator at the National Transport Authority, where Gráinne worked with employers nationwide to enhance staff travel options and reduce carbon emissions. Gráinne's extensive experience also includes positions at the University of Cambridge as Environmental Coordinator, managing sustainable travel initiatives, and as Business Advisor and Programme Manager at Crichton Carbon Centre, spearheading sustainability projects.
