Katherine Collins

Katherine Collins is an experienced professional, currently serving as the Waterford Cultural Quarter Project Manager at Waterford City & County Council since January 2018, leading an urban regeneration initiative centered on cultural development. Prior to this role, Katherine was the Team Lead for the European Capital of Culture project from February 2002 to September 2016, overseeing the collaborative bid process among local authorities and managing various teams and stakeholders. Katherine also has extensive experience in library services, having managed seven libraries as a Senior Executive Librarian and worked as an Assistant Librarian at Tipperary Libraries and Garda College Library from February 2001 to February 2002. Katherine holds multiple degrees in education and library science, including a Post Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Enterprise from Trinity College Dublin and several qualifications from University College Cork and University College Dublin.
