Lee Coffey

Lee Coffey has extensive experience in academia and industry within the field of molecular biology and biopharmaceutical science. Currently serving as a Lecturer and Researcher at South East Technological University since May 2022, Coffey previously held a similar role at Waterford Institute of Technology from 2005, focusing on undergraduate modules across all biology disciplines. Coffey has also assumed various research and supervisory positions, including being a Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Manager, and currently operates as the Founder and CTO of BIOENZ Technologies Ltd since December 2019. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Biology with Quality Management from Waterford Institute of Technology. Previous roles include Quality Control Analyst positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals Ireland and Dawn Pork & Bacon.
