Kernard Jones

Kernard D. Jones currently serves as the Sr. Vice President of Government Relations at Waterford.org, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this, Jones was the Director of Government Relations at Project Lead The Way from February 2022 to April 2023 and held roles at Notarize as Director of Government Affairs and Government Affairs Analyst from January 2021 to February 2022. Jones co-founded Smith & Jones Consulting and worked as an Associate at The Bingham Group, LLC in 2020. Previous experience includes a Summer Associate role in State and Local Affairs at BP and serving as a Student Regent at Texas Southern University. Jones began a career in public service as a Precinct Chair for the Harris County Democratic Party and participated as a Fellow at Lift Up Houston. Jones earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Texas Southern University in 2020.
