Laura Varela

Laura Varela has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Laura is currently the Revenue Operations Lead at Waterplan (YC S21) since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Bain & Company, where they held the role of Manager from September 2022 to March 2023 and Consultant from September 2020 to September 2022. Before joining Bain & Company, Laura was a JUMP MBA Intern at Uber in 2019. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Bain & Company as a Consultant from July 2018 to July 2018, Senior Associate Consultant from January 2017 to June 2018, and Associate Consultant from March 2015 to December 2016. Laura's work experience also includes serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant on Chemistry laboratory classes at ITBA from March 2011 to June 2012.

Laura Varela completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The Wharton School in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In 2012, Laura Varela also spent a period as an exchange student at Rice University, focusing on Chemical Engineering.
