Althea Alexander

Althea Alexander is a dedicated professional in the hospitality industry, currently serving as a Guest Experience Expert at Marriott International since August 2024. Previous roles include Banquet Manager at The Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center and Water's Edge Resort & Spa, with an extensive background in banquet management at Jamaica Pegasus Ltd. and Jewel Runaway Bay Beach and Golf Resort. Althea's experience also encompasses restaurant management at Spanish Court Hotel and culinary roles at various establishments, including Cate’s Italian Garden Restaurant and Wyndham Hotel. Althea holds a Master of Science in International Beverage Studies from Johnson & Wales University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Arts and Management and a Certificate in Events Planning from the University of Technology in Jamaica. Additionally, Althea possesses an Associate of Science in Business Studies from Excelsior Community College in Jamaica.
